Examination Committee :
There is an Examination Committee comprising of teachers from different departments to conduct internal examination.

Disciplinary Committee and Students’ Grievance Redressal Cell :

The College has a disciplinary committee constituted with the Principal and other four faculty
members to maintain students’ discipline. There is a Grievance Redressal Cell to look into the grievances
of the students.

Students’ Union :

The Marangi Mahavidyalaya Students’ Union is the general body of the students of the College. Its membership is compulsory for every student admitted to the College. The members of the Union are elected annually through the method of direct voting. This union is elected by the bonafide students of the college through the general election.

The college strictly follow the recommendations of the “Lyngdoh Committee” for the election of the Students’ Union Body. The Posts of the Office Bearers of the Students Union Body are President, Vice President, General Secretary, Asst. General Secretary, Girls’ Common Room Secretary, Social Service Secretary, Games and Sports Secretary, Music and Culture Secretary, Debating & Symposium Secretary, Magazine Secretary

The Union endeavors to foster and promote fraternity, mutual understanding, and a sense of responsibility among the students. The Students’ Union organizes games and sports, debates, cultural and social activities among the students during the College Week, which is being organized annually.

Excursion & Educational Tour :

Different teaching departments of the college arrange excursion/educational tour every year.

Sports Facilities :
The College has one playground with nominal facilities in football, Volleyball, Badminton etc.

Internal Assessment :
In internal assessment different tools may be employed such as written test, assignments, paper presentation, Group Discussion, laboratory work, etc. suitable to the courses.

Scholarship and Award :

The College provides all sorts of the State and Central Govt. scholarships such as National
Merit, State merit, Differently able, SC/ST, TGL, OBC/MOBC to deserving students. The student can
apply for scholarship through online system.

College Canteen :
The College has a well-equipped temporary Canteen which is run by private party under the control of the college authority.

Library :

The library has a good collection of reading materials including texts, references, journals, manuscripts, special collection of women studies, rare books etc.One effective part of the college library is the departmental libraries, which are related to the central library. There are 7 departmental libraries in the college which provide a goods academic response to both teachers and students and each of them has a well amount of text books, references, journals field reports etc.Now a day e- resources are considered as the most essential part of library resources. With the advent of ICT now it is easy to access e-resources throughout the world. In our country UGC INFLIBNET centre providing large number of e – resources on the consortia basic.

Mentoring :
The college provides mentoring to each and every student by its faculties.

Admission Committee :
An admission committee is constituted by the college authority to conduct entire admission process following Government reservation policy for the reserved category students such as ST(P),ST(H), SC, OBC, MOBC etc.

Women Cell :

The Women Cell awares the students about women issues and works for the welfare of women and of the surrounding areas.

Information and Career Guidance Cell (ICGC) :
The ICGC provides information of vacancies in various departments, public sector undertakings,
opportunities for higher education, scholarship and training etc. Besides guiding the students in
selecting appropriate course, it conducts training for self- employment.
